Collections Divide your collection of devices and parts into 16 categories, with 16 independent databases. Additional user defined databases are a few mouse clicks and keyboard strokes away. (Even Beanie Babies collections could be accommodated.) |
Sorting Sort your collection by any of eleven ways. |
Adding devices Adding parts and devices to your collection is easy. Each collection has its own preformatted drop-down boxes entries. For example, when working on a capacitor collection, the brands listed in the drop-down box lists many of the makers of capacitors, such as Audio Note, Sprague, and Wima. And the group box lists the capacitor types, such as oil, polypropylene, wet slug tantalum. With the user defined databases, the user made entries for brands, groupings, and styles are all saved for the next use of the program. If a diode or IC or transistor or tube's name is entered, the program looks up its manufacturer, grouping, package style, and price from a lookup table, as the program comes with four background databases that help with the data entry of these devices, greatly speeding up data entry for these active devices.

Filtering Databases Once your collection is loaded into a database, the fun begins. Filtering your collection is made easy by push-button selection of filter constrictions. You can quickly define, for example, a filter that will limit the program to only showing tubes made by Amperex that are also triodes and 9-pin miniatures and NOS and have been designated for auctioning. |
